What is Sensory Integration Therapy?

Sensory integration therapy (SIT) helps children with sensory processing disorders learn to organize and use sensory information from their body and environment more effectively. It is delivered by occupational therapists using specially designed play-based activities and equipment.

Therapy Process

Following a comprehensive sensory profile assessment, structured sensory experiences are provided using specialized equipment (swings, climbing walls, tactile materials) in an engaging, play-based approach.
