After graduating from Ankara Gülhane Military Medical Faculty, Dr. Metin Yurdakoş began his medical career as a Medical Second Lieutenant within the Turkish Armed Forces.
He completed his specialization in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Ankara Gülhane Military Medical Academy.
While serving as the Head of the Health Department at the 4th Army Corps Command in Edirne, he gave seminars on ergonomics to Turkish Armed Forces personnel working under various conditions.
After receiving his specialization, Dr. Metin Yurdakoş was appointed to the Turkish Armed Forces Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation, and Hydroclimatology Center in Bursa, where he served as the Clinical Chief until 1999.
During this period, he conducted research on physical therapy, rehabilitation, spa, and wellness centers in Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Hungary, and Canada on behalf of the Turkish Armed Forces.
While serving as the Chief Physician at Tatvan Military Hospital, Dr. Metin Yurdakoş voluntarily retired from the Turkish Armed Forces with the rank of Colonel and settled in Bursa.
He contributed his knowledge and experience to international research visits organized by the Bursa Governorship and Bursa Metropolitan Municipality to develop thermal and health tourism.
In order to implement his interests in rehabilitation, maintaining well-being, and enhancing quality of life, he established ROMMER Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Center in 1994. Expanding its service offerings, the center has continued to operate under the ROMMER INTERNATIONAL brand at an international level since 2006.
Dr. Yurdakoş has five international and many national publications related to his profession.
He currently serves as the President of BUSAT (Bursa Health Tourism Association) and the Chairman of the Health Committee at BTSO (Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry).
